No Weapon
Good Morning. Last night I was reading Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV), “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.” Isn’t that just awesome! Let’s dissect this verse. “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.” What is a weapon? A weapon is anything used against an opponent, adversary, or victim. Let me repeat, “No Weapon.” Weapons could mean different things in each person’s life. It could be their health, an abusive relationship, or a boss that is constantly putting them down, etc. Whatever it is, it will not prosper because God won’t let it. I know it’s looking bleak. Even though you can’t see, God is working it out in your favor. The next part of that verse, “And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn.” No one can judge us, but God. We sometimes forget that and become someone’s judge and executioner. Yes, I said we because we all do it or have done it at one time. Be careful who we judge because we have to stand in front of God one day as well. The last part of that verse, “This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.” We are God’s servants so this is something that we have already inherited. We haven’t done anything to deserve it. God gave it to us freely. He loves you and me! Remember Psalm 30:5 (NKJV), “For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.” Have a Blessed Day!
