Self-Doubt
Good Morning. For all that know me, they know that I have the tendency to overthink everything. For years I’ve had low self-esteem. I still feel that way at times, but not in a way that consumes me or keeps me from moving forward on things. I would always talk myself out of doing things simply because I didn’t think my idea or whatever was good enough. Let me be a little more transparent. I believed I wasn’t good enough. Let me tell you that is so not true, but more than that, God loves you, and he made you in his image. So how can we say we’re not good enough? Genesis 1:27 say, “So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Hello somebody! Is that not awesome? What a mighty God we serve! Just know that God loves you! You…just the way you are! Romans 5:8 says, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” I need to reiterate a part in that scripture, “While we were yet sinners.” No matter what we do, he still loves us. Don’t let self-doubt keep you from opening that business, writing that book, or whatever it is you want to do. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13 Have a Blessed Friday!
