Recharge Your Spirit
Good Morning. Today, I thought I would share an old post with you from 2015. Growing up, I was in church all the time since my father was a preacher. Can we just say I was tired back then? Once I got older, I quit going to church as often. At one point, I stopped all together. I had the same attitude as some of you reading this. “I don’t have to go to church to get his spirit.” I can just read and study the bible. Yes, you can, but Hebrews 10:25 (NKJV) says, “Not forsaking the assembling our ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” We need to be in the midst of believers so we can fellowship together. We’re not there to just worship together, but encourage as well. There are individuals within the church that are going through something. You never know how God may use you to help someone else or vice versa.
To recharge your spirit, you may just need church on Sunday. For others, it’s Bible Study, Prayer Night, and Sunday Service. Whatever YOU need to do in order to recharge, that’s what you do. Let me reiterate that recharging your spirit should be done on a daily basis as well. We do this by reading, praying, and hearing the word. Romans 10:14 (NKJV) says, “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” I would love to hear from you. Share some ways you recharge your spirit! Have a Blessed Day!
