Are You Willing to Go Where Jesus Leads You?

“16 So they answered Joshua, saying, “All that you command us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.” Joshua 1:16 (NKJV)

Good Morning. Leading up to chapter one in Joshua, Moses is now dead. Being the faithful servant that Joshua was, he was the one that would take the Israelites over into the promise land. There were things that they needed to know and do before they set out to cross over Jordan where the promise land was. The verse that stood out to me in this chapter is the one mentioned above. How many of us will tell God, “Lord, whatever you say, I’ll do it. Where ever you send me, I will go.” When individuals talk to me about a certain things, my first response is, “What does your first mind say?” I believe your first mind is actually the spirit talking to you. A lot of times, we won’t go with the first thought that crosses our mind because in some instances we think it’s either too simple or too hard. I’m going to give you a very simple example. Monday, as I was leaving home, I had gumption to take the back way to work. I said to myself, I don’t want to go that way today. Anyway, to make a long story short, I took another route. When I got up the street, there was car accident, so I had to take a detour out of the way mind you. If I had followed my gumption, I would have missed the accident and detour. It can be something as hard as leaving your job to pursue the career you really want. God is so good that he will not let you get so off the path that you can’t get back on it. As I’m typing this, I’m just overwhelmed with how to explain to you just how good God is. My question to you today, “Are You Willing to Go Where Jesus Leads You?” Sometimes it won’t be easy, but it’ll definitely be worth it. Have a Blessed Day!
