No Shortcuts

Good Morning. I was talking to my son last night as we were sitting in the hospital.  He had brought his math homework in to complete so he wouldn’t have to do it later.  He didn’t want to finish it because he didn’t have his calculator so everything would have to be done by hand.  That meant it’ll take him longer to finish.  Make a long story short.  I told him you can’t always take the shortcuts in life.  Sometimes you have to go the long route in order to reach the goal.  That’s the same way in our walk of faith.  The shortcuts may get us there quicker, but has the potential of us missing out on some lessons we needed to learn.  Don’t always seek shortcuts.  You’ll get there eventually.  It’ll just be in God’s timing and not ours.  Have a Blessed Day!
