Kiss the Frog
Good Morning. Last night I was watching Princess and the Frog again. I normally do not do posts on relationships, but this kind of resonated with me. If you have watched the movie, you know that Prince Naveem was turned into a frog. When he kissed Tiana, she turned into one as well. They went on this journey together never knowing how the other one looked. They found love being frogs, and was willing to spend their life together as such. At the end, they were married. When they kissed, they became human again. My point to this. We, as individuals, tend to look on the outside without ever getting to know a person from the inside. I know we all have our preferences, but we can miss out on someone good by looking at their outward appearance. We also take into account what someone can offer us materialisticly, and not what they can offer us spiritually, emotionally, etc. How do you know the one God has for you is not in the form of a frog (figuratively speaking)? Your one will be everything you need for him or her to be and more. Ask God for discernment when dating. Watch the red flags. If you see it in the beginning, more than likely it will be same, if not worse, if you get in a serious relationship with him or her. Ask him to show you who your Prince or Princess even if they are in frog form. Have a Blessed Day!
