In Times Like These

Good Morning. I think it would be safe to say that we’re going through a time of uncertainty. COVID-19 has changed our lives in a very short period of time. Our children are now being homeschooled, companies/organizations working from home, and in some cases, businesses being closed affecting their revenue and workers income. During all of this, what is God trying to show you in the midst of the crisis? Have your relationship with God dwindled? Have you missed milestones in your children’s lives because you’ve been more focused on work? Is your spouse feeling neglected because you just haven’t been there for one reason or the other? We are quarantined in our homes until further notice. Whatever it is, take time to fix it.  For others, he may just need you to slow you down so you can rest. I’m going to say it again, he’s trying to show us something during this time. Reconnect to what’s important to you starting with God first.  Let’s not forget that even in the midst of all this, God has us.  Deuteronomy 31:6 says, “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” God is knocking right now.  Will you let him in?  Rev. Walter Ellis and the Country Boys of Alabama have this song called, “In Times Like These”. We not only need him in times like these, but everyday.  I’m going to attach it.  Have a Blessed Day!
