Confidence in Christ

“So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.” Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT)

I want to talk to you today about being confident in God. One thing about God among many is that he does not lie. If he gave you that idea for a business, that job that you’re under qualified for, ect., believe it’s because he has the utmost confidence in you . Philippians 1:6 says, “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” We have to keep God in the forefront in all we do. I tell him all the time…I can’t move unless you’re holding my hand, and guiding my feet. I don’t want to do anything unless he’s there. I know with him it will be 10 times better than I could ever imagine. “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21 Keywords in this scripture are exceedingly and abundantly. What we ask for sometimes is mediocre in God’s eyes. See things as God sees it. Pastor Ramsey has this saying, “Why ask for a slice of bread when you can have a whole loaf.” That may not have been verbatim, but you get the jist. God desires to give you the whole loaf. Have a Blessed Day!
