You Are Chosen
Good Morning. In my walk with Christ, one thing I haven’t done on a consistent basis is read my bible everyday. Even though God downloads what he would have me to say to you, I still need my bible to go back, and just get background scripture to sometimes make things clearer to me so I can in turn make it clearer for you. The Lord put in my spirit to start reading Ephesians from the very first chapter. In this chapter, Paul is addressing the saints of Ephesus. The verse that I honed in on was verse 4, “Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.” (NLT) God chose us before he made the world. I just had to say that again because that was just so awesome to me. He already had our life’s plan before we came out of our mother’s womb. Jeremiah 1:5 (NLT) says, “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” God already knew the purpose he had for us, and he knows we have it in us to fulfill that purpose. If he chose us even though he knew beforehand what a complete mess we would be, why can’t we choose him knowing he loved us in spite of? Have a Blessed Day!
