Each Day is a Blank Canvas

Good Morning. I would like for you to think of your life today as a blank canvas. I guess you’re thinking, where is she going with this. I don’t know just work with me. Lol! It’s coming together in my head. Everyday you wake up is a new day. You have an idea of what your day will be like: work, kids, running errands, etc. I’m thinking more along the lines of your spiritual day. I’m not a painter in no way, shape, form or fashion. I’m thinking they get their inspiration from people, places, nature, etc. How will you paint the canvas of your life today? Will you have darkness as your background because you can’t see pass your circumstances to the light? Will you have different colors of paint because you fluctuated in your day between darkness and light? Will you have light shining all the way through because in spite of you know God has you? Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV) says, “For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Some things during your day you can’t control. I get that. How your spiritual man reacts is what you can control? Never doubt that the devil isn’t busy. As I’m sitting here writing my blog, I call my son on his cell so I won’t have to go upstairs to wake him. Well, the service is redirecting me back to Sprint. I can receive calls, but not make them at this moment. I could have easily let that distract me. I did for all of 2 minutes. I could have let it get me upset because I know I paid the bill. What I decided to do is continue to encourage you and myself in the Lord. I can’t stress to you to know how important it is to feed your spiritual man with God’s word. It’s the only way you can defeat the devil. Take your inspiration from God today.  Have a Blessed Day!
