Choose Your Battles
Good Morning. Yolanda Adams has this song called, The Battle is Not Yours. If you have an opportunity today, please listen to it. Romans 12:19 (NKJV) says, “Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.” Yesterday, I talked about You Can Bear It With Jesus. You can bear your battles with Jesus as well. At times, you’ll have to stand up for what you believe in. 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV) says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” So if the need arises that you need to stand up for yourself, take God in there with you so he can help you. Exodus 4:12 (NKJV) says, “Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.” Sometimes, we need to just be silent in the face of adversity. Some things are just too big for us to deal with it. Proverbs 14:29 (NKJV) says, “He who is slow to wrath has great understanding, But he who is impulsive exalts folly.” God will fight your battles.
