Don’t Stay in Your Rut
Good Morning. Yesterday, I considered an off day for me. I allowed thoughts that were not of him to fester, and affect my day. I didn’t go to church to feed my spirit. I didn’t turn on my praise and worship music, which would normally bring me back around. I didn’t even go back in prayer with him. I allowed the enemy to come in. I was just lying in bed allowing my flesh and spiritual thoughts to war. Which one was winning? My flesh. God realized that he needed to do something in order to get me out of my rut. My friend called and invited me to lunch. We ate, talked, and laughed about a little bit of everything. During our talk, we realized we were having the same type of day. Don’t ever be mistaken in believing that God doesn’t see or care about what we’re going through. He could have easily let both of us wallow in what could have been an unproductive day. Instead, he allowed both us to witness to certain things in each other lives that needed another’s person spiritual insight. “Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” Philippians 2:4 (NKJV) We helped each, but God helped us both. God sees and he cares. “Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 (NKJV) Have a Blessed Day!
