What to Do When You Can’t Do Anything Else (Part 1)

Good Morning. I was in the military for years. We had a coworker whose attitude wasn’t conducive to building a life-long friendship. She had swing moods, which sometimes bordered on bi-poplar. You just never knew what person you would get when you walked into the door on Saturday mornings. I know you all have had to deal with a person like that? I’d spoken with her along with my superintendent, but it didn’t do any good. So my question to you, “What do you do when you can do anything else? A lot of things ran through my mind during that time which was not very Christian-like. I prayed for her, the superintendent, and myself. We both outranked her so there was a thin line we had to tread. Psalm 133:1 (NKJV) says, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”   One thing I could do was pray for my attitude. John 16:33 (NKJV) says, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” We can’t change the person’s attitude, but we can change how we respond too it. I’m not saying it’s not hard, but it sure is worth it. Have a Blessed Day!
