Rebuild What’s Been Blown Down
Good Morning. This morning as I was thinking about what to talk about, several thoughts entered my mind. One story came and stayed: The Three Little Pigs. We’ve all heard the story. You’ve probably even read it to your children. I have. In the story, three pigs all build homes. One built his with straw, one with sticks, and one with bricks. The first two pigs were lazy so therefore they didn’t want to put the time and effort into building something that will last. The third pig knew what potential threats were out there so he built his with bricks. Isn’t that how we are nowadays. We don’t want to put the time and effort into building something that will last. We want microwave lives as I’ve heard somewhere. People want to be in a relationship, but don’t want to wait until the Lord sends their Boaz or Ruth. They don’t want to build a relationship with God to help them build the house of bricks. Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Some people want to be entrepreneurs. They pitch their idea to various people that don’t support or understand their vision. In some instances people are just not going to want you to do better than them. That’s life. We can’t stop when the devil blows a little wind. Knocks down our house. Put that word on him that will cause him to flee from you. We have to start rebuilding again using bricks (God). He’ll send people along the way to help you. The time is now. Start rebuilding today. Have a Blessed Day!
