Dare to Dream Again
Good Morning. I was writing down my affirmations in my calendar for the month when my eyes fell upon a book that was given to me. The title of the book was, “Follow Your Dreams They Know The Way.” The question that instantly popped in my head was, “What if you have forgotten what the dream was?”
I’m the first person that popped into my mind when the question came up. So often in life, life gets in the way. We have children, get married, experience losses, or whatever the case maybe to make you forget what you once dreamed about. When we were in elementary school, they asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Some responses were superheroes; others were firefighters, policeman, or lawyers.
Somewhere along the line it all changed. My words today for myself and you are, “Dare to Dream Again.”
Here are some scriptures for you to meditate on:
Proverbs 16:3 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
Proverbs 21:5 “The plans of the diligent lead to profit, as surely as hast leads to poverty.”
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”
This one is my favorite:
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV) “Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.”
Have a Blessed Day!
