Step Out of the Crate
Good Morning. I have a toy poodle named Smokey. Anytime I leave the house, I lock him in the crate until I get back. Yesterday, I left for a short period of time. When I returned, I unlocked the crate, but I did not open the door. So instead of him pushing the door open, he waited for me to open it. This morning he was still in the crate, and I thought about our lives. We have allowed things from our past to keep us locked up even though the door is completely open. We are afraid to step out of the crate (figuratively speaking) because if we step out of the crate, we become uncomfortable. We are afraid to step out of the crate because we think we will be judged. We are afraid to step out of the crate because we are afraid someone may not love us. We are afraid to step out the crate because we are afraid to fail. I do not know what your issue is, but step out of the crate one foot at a time. Don’t rush. It takes time, and time heals all wounds. Have a Blessed Day!
