Your Blessings Are Closer Than They Appear

Good Morning. As I was headed to work this morning, God brought to remembrance a sermon I heard over 10 years ago.  The sermon centered around the saying on the outside mirror of your vehicle, Objects are closer than they appear.  Even though I can’t remember the exact title of the sermon, I want to change the title to Your Blessings Are Closer Than They Appear.  That may have been the title, but I digress.  We believe what Matthew 7:7-8 (NKJV) says, ““Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”   Even I sometimes forget on this journey that he knows exactly what I need, when I need it.  We see others being blessed.  We ask, “God, when is my time?”  Our timing is not God’s timing.  My blessings are on the way.  Your blessings are on the way.  As a matter of fact, we’re being blessed on a daily basis.  We can’t see them because we focus so much on what we want, and not God and his best.  We have to be patient just a little while longer.  Have a Blessed Day!
