Giving Up Control
Good Morning. One thing about trusting God is that we have to give up total control to him. For me, that’s hard because of some things that transpired in my past. Sometimes I feel that if I give up control, I’ll lose me in the process. You must be thinking, “Sebrena, how can you feel that way?” Easy because at the end of the day, we’re all flesh. God gave us our feelings and emotions. He knows everything about us. I can write some of the things I do because I experience the same feelings as you do. So the next question should be, “Sebrena, how do we get over these feelings? Again, an easy question. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” It was an easy question to answer, but yet sometimes a hard thing to follow. Each day we have to die to ourselves, our desires, etc. At the end of the day, it’s about Jesus. He loves us, and only wants the best for us. Have a Blessed Day!
