Don’t Lose Your Faith

Good Morning. Sunday, my son and I had a conversation about losing faith.  He wanted to know what that meant.  I told him losing faith means giving up when things don’t happen as you thought they would or should.  My example to him: what if you ask God for a four-bedroom home with over 2500 square feet.  He blesses you with a home, but it’s only a three-bedroom with 1300 square feet.  Does it mean you won’t get the house you asked for?  Of course not.  It can mean that at that particular time, your finances won’t support you living in a home with that square footage.  We pray, and we should expect God to do what we asked within his will.  Just because you may not get what you’re asking for when you ask, it doesn’t mean that it won’t come to pass.  Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) says, “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.”  Keep praying.  Keep seeking.  Proverbs 15:29 (NKJV) says, “The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayers of the righteous.”  It’s hard, and I’ve even lost faith on my journey.  Don’t lose your faith!  Keep believing!  Have a Blessed Day!
