God Can Save You

“Listen! The LORD’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call. 2 It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore. Isaiah 59:1-2 (NLT)

Good Morning. As I look at the verse above, I’m humbled that despite all we do, God is a God of love. The reason I say that is because in verse 2, he says that it’s because of our sins that cut us off from God. Keyword is OUR. Even when we do things that are not of the will of God, he comes in, and helps us out of our mess when we cry out to him. I used WHEN in the previous statement because it’s not a matter of if you’ll cry out. Eventually you will because there will be no other place for you to go. I’ve been in situations when as soon as I did it, I knew I made the wrong move. Instead of owning my mess, I would waddle in it, feeling bad for myself. Also, feeling ashamed because the Lord told me not to do it. Sometimes the Lord will take his hands off us so we can see that we can’t make it without him. That doesn’t mean he’s left us. In Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV) says, “For he himself has said, “I will never leave your nor forsake you.” In verse 1 of the verse mentioned above, it says that God can save us. He hears us. Never doubt that he does. I know you’ve been praying and believing for that breakthrough, that spouse, that job, etc. God hears you and he will save you. Just keep pressing forward believing his word. Have a Blessed Day!
