Our Help

Good Afternoon.  After about 2 months, I finally received the help that I had been asking for at work.  So far the person and I seemed like we will work fine together which I am very happy about, but I wanted to talk to you about our very present help.  Who is that Sebrena?  Well, I am so glad that you asked.  Psalm 46:1 (KJV) says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”  The word also says in Hebrews 13:5-6 (KJV), “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we may boldly say: ‘The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”  Just those two verses alone state how God is our help.  So if God is our help, why do we continue to rely on man for what we need.  Needs can come in various forms to different people.  Needs can be financial, spiritual, emotional, physical, etc.  God is the source that provides resources which may come from man.  He also is the one that can be everything that you need.  God will bring it to you.  We just have to be patient.  When we pray, it is with the expectation that God will supply all our all needs.  Philippians 4:19 (KJV) says, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”  He got you!  Remember God loves you.  Have a Blessed Day!
