Look Up Not In
Good Evening. When God gave me this topic for a blog, I was thinking about how many ways I could go with this. He gave me the verses, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2 (KJV)
We are in trying times. We have individuals storming the capitol, individuals killing each other over nonsense, individuals dying of COVID-19, and a President that does not how to lose just to name a few. God is needed now more than ever. Please do not get me wrong, God is needed each and every day we are on this earth so please do not think he’s only needed when times are bad. That is not true.
The reason I say look up not in is because we can get consume with everything that is going on in the world. We will allow the world to change the trajectory of our mind and heart. We will start believing that there is no hope for God’s people. Yes, I said God’s people because we all belong him no matter what we say and do. Some people just do not know that they are his.
We do not know how 2021 will turn out, but we know as believers that God got us. Philippians 4:7 (KJV) says, And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Look Up Not In! Have a Blessed Day!
