Answered Prayer

Good Morning. Today I want to touch on answered prayer. We all pray (hopefully) concerning our needs and wants. Philippians 4:19, it says, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” That’s a promise so we shouldn’t ever have to wonder about whether our needs are taken of. Our God is faithful to those who diligently seek him. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).” I had the opportunity to participate in corporate prayer with the Church of Highlands. The atmosphere that day was conducive to praying in getting those prayers through to the spiritual realm. I sent the same ones up again because I felt they hadn’t been answered over the last week or so. When I walked out, I was still okay because I remembered Mark 11:24, “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” 2 Corinthians 1:20 says, “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.”   As I was talking to one of my best friends later, I start recalling things I had asked of him. I hit a moment in the midst of me talking, realizing that he had indeed answered several prayers that I had sent up. I had to stop right then, and give thanks because my mind was so focused on the unanswered ones that I couldn’t see the ones that he did answer. Keep seeking him in everything you do, and I promise you, your prayers will be answered. Sometimes they won’t be answered like we would like, but they will be answered. Have a Blessed Thursday!
