The Temporal Things
“So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever” 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NLT)
I was invited to something I had no place being at. Being me, since I committed to it, I went anyway. I was miserable from the time I got there until it ended. I drove but didn’t want to leave the people riding with me. Have you ever put yourself in situations you know you should not have been in the first place?
When God shows you something or tells you something, please listen. The whole time I was there I was saying, “Father.” I can say that was my first and last time. I talk about grace a lot because God continues to give it. Give yourself grace on those days when you do not make the right decisions.
There will be places that you can’t go. There will be things you cannot do. It is okay. The calling on your life is so much bigger than the temporary. I repented while sitting there knowing he loves me no matter what.
God knows and sees all. He got you!
