Surrender it All
Good Morning. I normally do a message of the week, but today I need to change things up. This is on my heart this morning. As Christians, I don’t think there’s enough transparency where the world can see we’re just like them, in most if not all aspects of our lives. The only difference is, we have a relationship with God. We believe what his word says. We make it seem like we have it all together when in truth we don’t. I also believe as Christians we need to encourage each other more which is the reason for my blog. Today, I need encouraging. I can truly say that I’ve surrendered most, but not all aspects of my life to Christ. There have been things that have happened in my life, which causes me to need total control or the idea I have control of everything. I hope that makes sense. Can I just tell you I’ve been holding on for dear life, but now I’m tired. I know without a shadow of doubt, I’m existing, but not living. I can say that with complete honesty. I asked the Lord last night, “How can I get to the point of living?” He said as clear as day, “Surrender.” I was like, “Lord, I don’t know how.” That’s where I am right now.
