It’s Time to be Replanted

Good Morning. Last year after the passing of my grandmother, my aunt gave whoever wanted one, a peace lily. I do not have a green thumb at all. I was a little hesitant, but took the plant anyway. For the past year, I have watered and talked to her. Some days I would open the blinds so she would get a little light. I noticed that she was living, but not growing. A friend told me that I needed to repot her. I repotted her with a little help because I did not know what I was doing. LOL! Now she’s growing and flourishing. It seems like each week I see a new leaf come up. Last week, I talked about your answer being the change. You cannot grow and flourish unless you put yourself in a place where you can. This place of growth maybe a new position with your current employer or a new employer that you will not apply for. It maybe a new home in your current location or another state altogether. Then, it may just be your circle of influence. The people you allow into your world. I’m pretty sure the plant would have stayed in the pot for as long as I left her there. Would she have grown or would she have died eventually? Are you growing where you’re planted or are you slowly dieing everyday thinking you are okay?  Just a little food for thought. Now, she’s in a big pot. “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Colossians 2:7 (NLT) Is it hard to uproot yourself from what is familiar…YES! Can it be done…YES! I know it is hard. I’m right there with you. We’re going to do this together. You have a Blessed Day!
