If You Take One Step, God Will Take Two
Good Morning. Did you all know that for years I thought the topic for today was in the bible? I just found out it wasn’t several years ago from my Pastor. Anyway, back to the word. We sometimes have the misconception that if we do something incorrectly, God will not catch us. I’ve been praying about a particular move I want to make. I’ve been waiting on God to give me an answer. Well, I haven’t heard anything yet so I haven’t done anything to move forward in that. I was talking to a friend last night explaining my situation. She said that sometimes God doesn’t answer. He just wants us to take that first step in faith. We have to believe that if it’s the wrong move, he’ll shut the door. “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: Revelation 3:7 (NKJV) We will all do something at one time or the other that we feel is right. That’s inevitable. If it’s not right, it’s still okay. We just have to ask God to order our steps. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.” Psalm 37:23 (NKJV) Know that there’s no move, good or bad, that God is not there. Have a Blessed Day!
