Pray for Our Children
Good Morning. About two weeks ago my daughter was crying. I’m still not sure what she was crying about as she keeps things close to her as I do. I asked, but didn’t push, as I knew she would eventually tell me. The next day, I found out a friend of mine’s son was killed at a restaurant close by. Keep your children in constant prayer, but also teach your children to pray, and turn to God. It’s not enough for us as parents to pray for them, they need to pray for themselves as well. Teach your children about God. If you don’t know about him, start attending a bible based church that preaches the word. I want to share a prayer from one of my prayer books for your child(ren) today.
“Lord, I pray that You would help me to me to be a good role model as I teach my kids to pray. As a spiritual coach, empower me to pray for them and with them. May I provide clear instruction and a consistent example so my children can form good prayer habits. I know that I’m not perfect, but I am submitted to You. I ask that as I follow Your example, Lord, they will follow mine-and be people of prayer.
