God is Our Coach
Good Morning. Last Saturday was my son’s last football game. As I watched them play, I was humbled at their willingness in not giving up. We were a team of only 11 players; therefore our boys had to play through the whole game without being able to sub out. We never won one game, but week after week, they kept coming back to play. They all had positive attitudes each time they played. I must admit, some days they gave their best, and some days they didn’t. I think if we’re totally honest, we have days like those as well. As Christians, there are going to be days where we give our best, and some days when we won’t. That’s life. Whether they’re good or bad days, we have a coach rooting for us each and every day. Isaiah 40:31(NKJV) says, “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” If we want to win, we have to follow the plays lined up in his playbook, which is the bible. He wants us to succeed in every area of our life. The question is, “How bad do you want it?” Have a Blessed Day!
