Your Goalie
Good Morning. My youngest son plays soccer which I have come to enjoy very much. It is exciting to me even though I do not know any rules concerning the game. If you have ever watched the game, you know the players pass the ball back and forth between them in order to get the ball in the other teams goal. They also try to take straight shots in certain points in the game. As I was watching the game, I thought about us as believers. Instead of trying to shoot the ball (problems) in the goal the first try, we pass it to this person and that person hoping that they can help us with things going on in our life. We even pass it to the opposing team (the devil’s team) because we let all our doubts, fears, worries, and anxieties get in the way of reaching our goals. God is on our team each and everyday that we open our eyes, and when we close them at night. He wants to help us win against each and every trial and tribulation that comes. God wants to help us reach our goals. You just have to believe that he will not allow anything to happen to you while you are playing the game. Trust your goalie. Have a Blessed Day!
