Believing What He’s Showing and Telling You
Good Morning. It’s another days journey, and I’m glad about it. That’s a line from an old song we used to sing at church. Last night I was talking to a real good friend of mine. I was sharing with her some things I was going through in my life right now. They aren’t bad things mind you, but things I was questioning on whether or not I heard correctly from God. Yesterday, I talked to you about waiting on God. Besides waiting on God, we have to have faith that what he told us will come to pass. If he said it, we should believe it. Romans 4:20-21 (NKJV) says, “He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” I want to be more transparent than usual this morning. Several years ago, I believed that God spoke to me about marrying my last husband. This was marriage number 2 for me. We got married. It wasn’t all bad, but it turned out to be an opportunity of learning for me. We’re not together anymore needless to say. I saw all the red flags before we got married, but I wanted it so bad. Key words in the last statement, I wanted it. I know you’re thinking, “How did she get it wrong if she heard?” God kept throwing up red flags. I kept ignoring them. I had chaos in my home for the simple fact I chose to go against what God was trying to show me through the red flags. 1 Corinthians 14:33 (NKJV) says, “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.” Right now, some of you are ignoring the red flags. Just know that it’s prolonging you from coming into God’s destiny for you just that much sooner! Have a Bless Day!
