Giving and Receiving
Good Morning. I wanted to talk to you to about giving and receiving. We know how good our God is. He is awesome and he continually gives us what we need on a continual basis. That’s his promise to us. I don’t think any of us have a problem receiving each and every one of his blessings. I was lying in the bed this morning, reflecting. I talk to God everyday, but I haven’t spent just one on one time with him lately. No reason why I couldn’t have, I just haven’t. We all want to receive, yet do we give him all of who we are as a person? He wants the good, bad, and the ugly. He wants the parts that we are ashamed to tell anyone. Do we give him our time? Zacardi Cortez has this song 1 On 1. He’s basically stating that he needs his 1 On 1 time with God so he can hear from God. He needs to ask God questions. Do we open our mouths and tell people how good God is? Matthew 10:32-33 (KJV) says, “32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Do we give him our tithes and offerings? Malachi 3:10 (KJV) says, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” Just some food for thought today. We love to receive, but what are we willing to give? Have a Blessed Day!
