Our God is Better than Their God
Good Morning. Before you think too much about the title, I’m going somewhere with it, but I want you also to remember these two scriptures. “But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. 11 For God does not show favoritism.” Romans 2:10-11 (NLT) Hebrews 13:8 (KJV) says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” I was reading Isaiah 41 last night. It was talking about Our God and the other god’s and idols that the other nations were serving. Throughout the passage, the writer kept asking, paraphrasing, “Does your god do this and does your god do that?” The answer to that question is no because there is no other God like the God we serve. When we talk about Our God, it should make people want to see what our God is all about. They should gravitate towards the one that made heaven and earth. They should gravitate towards the one that will make a way out of no way. They should gravitate towards the one that will supply all their needs above their needs. They should gravitate towards the one that will never leave them comfortless. I could say so much about our God, but that would take all day. They should do all this based off what we say about The One and True Living God. They should see God in us. They should see that Our God is better than their god. Have a Blessed Day!
