The Power in God’s Resurrection
Good Morning. Last weekend was Resurrection weekend. I attended the Church of Highlands where I was extremely blessed by the message given by Pastor Hodges. I wanted to share some points he gave, but with my spin on them if you don’t mind.
- Stop Dying. Stop dying to your circumstances. It is not finished. God is not through with you yet. Stop allowing the devil to speak to you during your time of storms. Hebrews 13:5 (KJV) says, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
- Start Rebuilding. Start rebuilding what was lost during your storm. Your peace, joy, peace, faith, belief, etc. God says in Psalm 119:105 (KJV), “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Ask God for guidance as he builds up what was torn down in your life.
- Stop Doubting. Regardless of what is going on your life, God loves you. Even though it does not look like it, God is working everything out for your good. Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
- Start Living. What does that entail for you? I do not know. Only you know what makes you happy. Happiness starts within. It is not based on people or materialistic things. Just thought I would throw that out there. Live your life according to God’s word and you will know what it truly means to live.
I hope that blessed you today. Have a Terrific Tuesday!
