What to Do When You Can’t Do Anything Else (Part 2)

Good Morning. I wrote the first part of this blog in November. I want to do a continuation of this. Recap of the previous blog. I was working with a coworker who made my life as well as others difficult at times because her attitude. Myself along with my supervisor had spoken with her to no avail. It got to the point that we didn’t talk to her unless we had too. She made the work environment very uncomfortable. So what do you do when you can’t do anything else? Philippians 2:5 (NKJV) says, Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” Don’t think as the flesh thinks. Use God as your example when dealing with people period. If a person sees you have a good attitude, then maybe that will spark a change within them. In my situation, her attitude didn’t change. God did allow her to get a job somewhere else though. That worked for me. Thank you Jesus! In Proverbs 10:11 (NKJV) says, “The mouth of the righteous is a well of life, But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.” Can it be hard speaking life into someone when it seems they want to suck the life out of you? Yes, it is. Is it hard not to let the flesh take over, and say some choice words? Yes, it is. Can it be done? Yes, it can. Romans 12:2 (NKJV) says, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” I don’t know your situation. I do know God. At this time, he’s working things out on your behalf. Pray for that person. Pray for yourself as well that you won’t allow yourself to get to their level. Remember you have to give an account for your actions. You can’t control them. You can only control you. Have a Blessed Day!
