When is the Best Time for Prayer?

Good Morning.  Any time you choose is an excellent time to pray.  I Thessalonians 5:17 (NLT) says, “Never stop praying.”  On yesterday, I spoke on Your Temptations are Nothing New.  I have friends that I have bible studies with.  I shared the scripture from yesterday’s blog, and they gave me a scripture to look at as well.

James 5:16 (NLT) says, “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”  I have people in my life that pray for me and with me.  I do not tell everyone my business.  Two reasons: (1) people act like their stuff don’t stink and have the audacity to judge and (2) everyone is not my friend.  They could be praying for my demise.  I’m just saying. 

Anyway, let’s go back to James 5:16.  In this scripture, it says to confess our sins to each other and pray for each other so we can be healed.  I don’t need to tell you to add God in that prayer.  As mentioned yesterday, God already knows.  Please don’t feel like you can’t talk to him after committing the sin.  He wants and needs to hear from you.  The scripture ends with saying the righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.  Your prayer still has power in the midst of the mistake.  You can still come out of it with a positive result.  As stated before you just have to confess the sin and ask for healing. 

Let me ask you a question.  It would be interesting to see who does.  Please provide an answer in the comments today if you will.  So, my question is this.  How many of pray before you know you are about to do something wrong?  I’ve made quite a few mistakes so there is a chance I have.  Of course, we may pray during and afterwards.  Either way God wants to hear from you.  Have a Blessed Day!
