Bloom Where You Are Planted

Good Morning.  In 2018, my grandmother passed away at the age of 93.  I grew up going to her house on the weekends and summertime. She always had plants around the house.   After the funeral, my aunt gave me a fern.  Let me tell you, I do not have a green thumb at all.  I was so surprised because she grew and grew until eventually I had to repot it.  Now, did I think the fern would make it?  No, because I had tried before with another fern years ago.  It died.  Yet, here we are 3 years later, and my plant is still growing.

As believers, God does us the same way.  He uses his word to grow us.  We need to water our life daily with the word of God.  Talk to God about areas in which you need to grow in.  Ask him, “Lord, what would you have me to do in this season?”  I promise if you seek him with all your heart he will answer.  Sometimes, God needs to repot us so that we can grow.  Sometimes, we may have to move to another location.  It could be removing certain people from your life. I don’t know what that may look like for you. Yes, I know change can be hard, but know that he has already made a way.  Bloom where you are planted until God tells you your next step.  Have a Blessed Day!
