Surrendering
Good Morning. As I am sitting here typing right now, I’m mulling over what topic to share on my heart today. The word that came to me is Surrendering. What is the definition of surrender? To surrender is (1) to give (oneself) over to something (such as an influence) and (2) to give up completely or agree to forgo especially in favor of another. These were just two of the definitions that I wanted to use. We have to daily surrender ourselves, our lives, and everything and everyone that is attached to us over to God. God is working on those things we’ve asked for, and also those things we did not think we needed. We have to surrender our day knowing that God has already paved the way for it. There have been so many times that God has asked me to surrender something or someone. It is hard sometimes because we all like a semblance of control. It is also hard to surrender because we do not want to start over. I know that was the case for me. When you get like that, ask God to step in and help you.
