Changing Your Scenery

Good Morning. This weekend was a relaxing one.  I took my kids to Birmingham just to get out of the house for a bit.  We didn’t do anything big.  I just felt like we all needed a change of scenery.  That’s what I want to talk to you about today – Changing your scenery.  I find when I change my surroundings, things that may have been daunting to me becomes clear.  In other words, I gain clarity.  A few weeks back, my mastermind coach asked me to participate in a business expo this weekend.  I originally said yes, but was close to pulling out of the obligation.  I didn’t really feel like I had anything to say to these women that were going to be there.  Sometimes God needs us to leave the familiar so we can see pass it.  God is a God of the impossible.  Luke 18:27 (NKJV) says, “But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”  Your scenery can include people you hang out with.  If they are always negative, change your scenery.  If they want to stay in the same place with no dreams or goals, change your scenery.  Even though I took my kids with me this weekend, parents, it’s okay to leave them and spend time by yourself.  We need to regroup so that we can continue to be what they need.  Changing your scenery needs to be anything or anyone that will keep you from receiving God’s best.  Have a Blessed Day!
