Hold on Just a Little while Longer
Good morning. The title of the blog today is a song we used to sing at my dad’s church. I’m going to share two versus with you.
Hold on just a little while longer
Hold on just a little while longer
Everything will be alright
Fight on just a little while longer
Fight on a little while longer
Pray on a little while longer
Every little thing will be alright
The older people could say so much in just a few words. As you’re reading this right now, you’re sitting at job with no promise of promotion. Some of you are at your desk thinking about how can your boss disrespect you in front of someone with no care in the world. While some of you are in a marriage with what seems like no way of getting out. Now if hands are being laid on you, I can’t say, hold on to that. Common sense is needed as well God’s guidance in some situations. I’m just saying. If I can’t say anything else, keep repeating the lyrics to the song above. God sees your pain. He sees what you’re going through on regular basis. He cares. I can’t repeat that enough. He cares. Cry out to him everyday if you have to, but don’t let them win. Ephesians 4:26-27 (NKJV) says, “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.” Whomever it is that is pushing your buttons, don’t let them make you act out of God’s will. You have to give an account just like they have to account for their actions. This next scripture says it all. “Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.” Romans 12:19 (NKJV) Have a Blessed Day!
