You Are Not Your Mess

Good Morning. Sometime today, please read the whole chapter of Psalm 139. When God looks at you, he doesn’t see your mess. God doesn’t see your past. He sees the person he formed in your mother’s womb. “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:13 (NKJV) He sees the person he made all these plans for that he’s just waiting to fulfill if we allow him into our hearts. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV) I don’t know what you’re going through right now. God wanted me to tell you this, “You are fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139:14 (NKJV) Yes, you’re going through right now. Who isn’t? If they’re not going through, they just came out. GOD LOVES YOU. Let me say that again. GOD LOVES YOU. Don’t stop and don’t quit. Keep moving toward the prize, eternal life with Christ. Another song just popped in my head.  Have a Blessed Day!

Hold to God’s Unchanging Hand

“Time is filled with swift transition,

Naught of earth unmoved can stand,

Build your hopes on things eternal,

Hold to God’s unchanging hand.”

“Hold to God’s unchanging hand,

Hold to God’s unchanging hand;

Build your hopes on things eternal,

Hold to God’s unchanging hand.”

“Trust in Him who will not leave you,

Whatsoever years may bring,

If by earthly friends forsaken

Still more closely to Him cling.”
