Living through Your Purpose
Good Morning. Do you ever feel like you are turning your wheels? I feel like that sometimes. I’m not sure if I’m living versus existing. I’ve been in survival mode for so long that sometimes I’m not sure what living encompasses. I do know I want to get there. I wonder if our fulfilling our purpose plays a big factor in feeling like we’re living. Just my train of thought this morning.
This post today is not so much as scriptural base as it is my heart to you. In my blog posts, I try to be as transparent as I can when it comes to my life experiences. Sometimes I feel inadequate in the task(s) God has set before me. I’ve made all kinds of excuses on why he should pick someone else. He did not let go. I’ve come to find out, he will not.
I wonder how many of you have been running from your God-given purpose. It doesn’t have to be in the capacity of within a church. Maybe it’s starting a non-profit, helping more within the community, etc. We oftentimes do not feel like we’re qualified. God told Samuel in 1 Samuel 16:7 (NLT), “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” God has saw your heart. Don’t look at how society may qualify you for this role. The only qualification you need is the one that our God in Heaven has given you.
I’m not saying that you have not been living your life. You may have traveled, experienced different cuisine, and lived your life to the fullest. You’ve done this, but still feel a kind of void in your life. Maybe it’s because you have not done what God has called you to do. Just something to think about. Ask God what your purpose is if you don’t know it. He will reveal and help you. Have a Blessed Day!
