Save the Bees
Good Morning. I love Pinterest. I mean love, love, love. Anyway, I saw this shirt that said, “Save the Bees.” I know you are thinking, “where is she going with this?” Please believe me when I say, this is not part of the “Birds and Bees Speech” your parents give when you are growing up. LOL! Okay, I am serious now. I did a little research on the honey bee. They originated from South and Southeast Asia. They produce honey. We all know that honey is used in various ways by our culture. As believers, let us think of ourselves as being honey bees. We originated from the Garden of Eden where God formed Adam and Eve. As bees, we work together to change the lives of unbelievers. When we work together in the Body of Christ, we entice others to our nest with the words of our mouth and the works of our hands. That is considered the honey that makes them want to join our nest so to speak. How can they know how sweet Jesus is if our life does not reflect who he is to us? Please do not give them the misconception that everyday is a good day because that would not be the truth. You can let them know that with Jesus, even on a bad day, it still is a good day because Jesus is with us. Jesus is the honey that will keep them together through their trials and tribulations. He needs us to bring more honey bees to the nest so their lives can be saved. As bees, we all have different talents and gifts that God has given us. Use those for the glory of God, and bring others to Christ! Have a Blessed Day!
