Action through His Word
When we work in different positions or at different workplaces, we normally have standard of procedures that we have to follow. Your employee likes things done a certain way, and more than likely communicated those things during the interview as well as the orientation. God has a standard of procedures for us as well which is the Bible. Everything we need in order to do life is in there.
In 2 Kings 22, it talked about how Josiah after being read the word found in the temple immediately started reforming the lives of the nation. How many of you have a bible, but do not read it? Reading and hearing the word of God should prompt us to take action in our lives.
Today, I want to encourage you to open your bible. You do not have to read a whole chapter. Ask God what he wants to say to you today, and find that scripture. Let it meditate in your heart and mind. Knowing God’s direction in your life helps you do life better. You never have to worry about what God thinks and feels about a situation. It is in his word.
Each day carve out some time with God. Pray, read his word, and follow it. You will be glad you did.
